Mission and Vision
Vision: To bring down the harmful effects of natural, climatic and man-made disasters to a tolerable level of the population; However, the poor and needy should be given priority in this work.

Mission: To transform the overall disaster response and overall risk reduction activities from the traditional disaster response and relief activities so that the loss of life and property is at a tolerable level for the people.
